Our accreditations

Swedac has the government's mandate to be the Swedish accreditation organization. Accreditation is a competence test that is carried out according to European and international standards.

In order to be accredited, competence, routines and methods are tested so that all quality requirements are met according to a standard. Afterwards, Swedac regularly checks that the company continues to live up to the requirements for its accreditation.
The purpose of accreditation is to be able to ensure that certification, control and testing are done with high quality and good safety for life, health and the environment. Accreditation involves checks that assignments are carried out impartially, correctly and are based on internationally recognized standards.
